Anouk Fischler, founder and director of Brain Shape is an occupational therapist, who specializes in the prevention and rehabilitation of cognitive deterioration.
Anouk came to Israel from Belgium in the mid-90s with a Zionist-altruistic world-view and a strong desire to help and improve her environment. Anouk has B.A. degrees in Occupational Therapy and in Education from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Since graduating in 2002, Anouk has successfully completed numerous courses at the Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University and Sheba (Tel Hashomer) Medical Center. She has specialized in issues concerning the connection between the brain, cognitive processes and daily functioning, memory, cognitive rehabilitation, personal coaching, and evaluation and rehabilitation of driving skills. She also completed the Psychogeriatrics course at the Medical School of the Tel-Aviv University.
Anouk has gained her rich experience in the field working with people with varied difficulties at Israel’s top medical, diagnostic and rehabilitation centers such as Sheba Medical Center, Loewenstein Hospital and Maccabi Health Services.
Anouk speaks the following languages: Hebrew, French, English, Dutch and Spanish.
